Two-alarm fire damages three homes on the city's north side
MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee firefighters responded to a fully-engulfed two-alarm house fire near 24th and Keefe early Friday morning.
When crews arrived on the scene the second floor of the home was completely gone and the fire had spread to two neighboring homes.
Officials say the house where the fire originated is a total loss. Officials say the two neighboring houses sustained minor damage and will be saved.
Authorities say no injuries were sustained as a result of the fire. The Red Cross was on the scene, and assist nine occupants.
The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation by the Milwaukee Fire Department.
