Two hurt following three-vehicle crash on Hwy. 26 near Watertown
DODGE COUNTY (WITI) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Department is investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred in a construction zone on Highway 26 near Wilson Road, in the Township of Clyman. Two people were transported to the hospital following the incident.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a Grand Caravan traveling southbound in a construction zone on Highway 26 was rear-ended by a tractor trailer also traveling southbound. This crash caused the Caravan to cross the center line and strike a vehicle traveling northbound.
Police say the motorist traveling northbound lost control after being struck a Mushuda Construction flagman.
Officials say the driver of the minivan, which was traveling southbound, and the flagman sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The motorist was transported to a local hospital by EMS to Beaver Dam Community Hospital and the flagman was transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert.
