Two injured following crash on Highway 20 near County Highway J in Town of Troy

WALWORTH COUNTY (WITI) -- Two people were transported to the hospital Thursday night, December 18th following a semi tractor-trailer vs. car crash in Walworth County.

The crash occurred on Highway 20, just south of County Highway J, in the Town of Troy.

Initial investigation at the scene revealed that the semi tractor-trailer was westbound on Highway 20 when the driver lost control while negotiating a curve. The semi tractor-trailer then overturned and struck a car traveling eastbound. The car then went into the ditch-line, where it also overturned.

Walworth County officials say both drivers were trapped and required extrication. Both were transported to the hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
