KENOSHA CO (WITI) -- Two separate Kenosha County motorcycle accidents taking place about 30 minutes apart Saturday afternoon, November 8th, have left one person dead and two others injured.
The first accident happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Hwy F near Bassett Rd. in the town of Randall. A group of four motorcycles were traveling eastbound on Hwy F when one of the drivers lost control due to a strong gust of wind.
The driver, 51-year-old Joseph Fox, was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained severe head injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.
Fox was taken to Burlington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Fox's motorcycle also struck another motorcycle, driven by his daughter, during the incident. The woman sustained a leg injury.
The second motorcycle accident happened just before 3 p.m. on Hwy 142 near Burlington Rd. when a single driver failed to negotiate a curve.
The driver, 53-year-old Jeffrey Snell, was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained severe head injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.
Snell was transported by Flight for Life to Froedert Memorial Hospital where he remains in severely critical condition.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the accident.
