Two people hurt after SUV rolls over, car strikes SUV

DODGE CO. (WITI) -- Two people were hurt after an odd wreck on State Highway 73 near Hyland Rd. in the Town of Westford late Friday, January 18th.

A 54-year-old Randolph man was driving an SUV north on Hwy. 73 when he spun off the roadway and overturned.

A short time later, a 55-year-old Randolph man driving a car slid off the roadway and struck the rolled over SUV.

The driver of the SUV and his passenger, a 23-year-old Fox Lake woman, were flown by helicopter to UW Hospital in Madison. Their condition has not been released.

The driver of the car and his passenger, his 53-year-old wife, were not hurt in the crash.

Vehicle speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash of the SUV. There is no indication of any wrong doing on the part of the driver of the second vehicle.
