GRAFTON (WITI) -- Two people are said to have been seriously injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a lawn tractor that occurred on Monday evening, June 23rd.
It happened near Pleasant Valley Road and Green Bay Road in Grafton just after 7:00 p.m.
The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department tells FOX6 News a group of three motorcycles was traveling westbound on Pleasant Valley Road near Green Bay Road and came over the crest of a hill when they saw a man crossing Pleasant Valley Road on a lawn tractor.
Sheriff's officials say two of the motorcyclists managed to avoid the tractor, but one could not -- striking the tractor.
Both the motorcyclist and the man on the lawn tractor were injured. They were both taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Flight for Life was initially called to the scene -- but couldn't land due to foggy weather conditions.
It is believed that both of the individuals involved in this incident suffered serious injuries.
The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department says injured in this incident are a 31-year-old Saukville man (the motorcyclist) and a 41-year-old Town of Grafton man (riding the lawn tractor).
Officials say the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
