Undercard GOP debaters assess their own performance in the "spin room"
MILWAUKEE -- The undercard Republican presidential debate at the Milwaukee Theatre happened a couple hours before the main eight-candidate field took the stage. While it also focused on the economy and job creation, it also sparked some fireworks between the candidates.
Gov. Chris Christie, former Gov. Mike Huckabee, Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Sen. Rick Santorum all held the stage for about an hour on Tuesday, November 10th. In the "spin room" after the debate, each candidate had the opportunity to assess their own performance.

FOX6 News specifically asked Huckabee about one of the only questions asked that did not concern the economy -- a question about U.S. aid for Syrian refugees.
"We can send humanitarian aid, that's something that I'm not opposed to," said Huckabee.
"Look, every Republican agrees Hillary Clinton is bad, that's not the point. The point is, what can we do that's better?" said Jindal.
"I had the opportunity to really focus on the theme that I closed with -- working families and try to do something to unite the country," said Santorum.
All of the candidates said they were much happier with the format of Tuesday's debate -- which allowed for more time for each of them to address certain issues.
