Vader ready to vote? Madison gets creative in mission to inform voters

MADISON (WITI) -- Three public service announcements began airing in Dane County on Friday, October 3rd. They're aimed at informing voters they need to bring valid identification to the polls in order to vote.

The three PSA’s are designed for different audiences. One of them (seen just below) stars Madison-area grocery store manager Chad Vader and will be run exclusively on the internet.

Another PSA features Noble Wray and will be aired on 18 cable channels and some network channels and will also be featured as an internet ad targeting Dane County voters.

The last PSA is entirely in Spanish and will target Latino voters on both cable and the internet.

The City of Madison and Dane County are splitting the cost of the outreach program. The total budget is $45,000.
