Vehicle in Lake Winnebago near Kimberly Point Park in Neenah

NEENAH, Wis. - A vehicle went into Lake Winnebago in Neenah on Thursday night, Jan. 9. It happened on Lakeshore Avenue, just south of Kimberly Point Park.
According to police, the driver left the roadway and drove across the ice, into the open water. The driver was not injured.
"We have taken dozens of calls about this and want to make the public aware there is no emergency and the vehicle will be removed as soon as possible," said Neenah police in a Facebook post.

Arrangements are still being made to retrieve the vehicle.
