Victims identified in fatal Dodge County crash

DODGE CO. (WITI) -- Dodge County released the names of the victims of a violent crash on State Highway 33 on Thursday, June 6th.

The deceased are identified as 31-year-old Tiffany Stahr of Milwaukee and 53-year-old Milton Christison of Beaver Dam.

The wreck happened just before 4 p.m. on State Highway 33 between County Highway AY and Madison Rd. in the Town of Herman.

Officials say the crash began when an SUV driven by Stahr was headed eastbound on Highway 33. Stahr tried to pass a semi. But when she tried to get back into the eastbound lane behind the semi, Stahr struck the semi and lost control of the SUV — which drifted into the westbound lanes. A pickup truck driven by Christison was headed westbound and struck the SUV. Another vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 33 behind the pickup also struck the SUV.

Three other people in Stahr's SUV were ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the semi was not hurt.

Officials are investigating whether alcohol/drug impairment was a contributing factor of this crash.

In the meantime, family tells FOX6 News a “Tiffany Stahr and Kids Fund” has been established. The family says donations can be made at any US Bank branch.
