Victims of fatal crash identified by Waukesha County authorities

WAUKESHA CO. (WITI) -- The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department released on Monday, September 9th, the identities of those who died after a crash on State Highway 16 in the Village of Nashotah.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 8th. The initial investigation shows a black car traveling eastbound on Hwy 16 left the roadway, crossed the median, and struck a silver car headed westbound.

The two people incident the black car were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver is identified as Glenda Skalecki of Oconomowoc. The passenger is identified as Karen Gulley of West Bend.

The driver of the silver car, identified as Nicholas Rindt of New Berlin, is at Froedtert Hospital recovering from injuries. Two children in the same car, ages 6 and 7, are being cared for at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
