VIDEO: Two wanted in armed robbery at Milwaukee laundromat

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public to help identify two armed robbery suspects who robbed an employee at the Suds Your Duds Laundromat near Hampton Ave. and Grantosa Dr. around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21st.

Two suspects entered the laundromat and approached an employee in a back room. Suspect #1 pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded and obtained valuables from the victim. After completing the first robbery, Suspect #1 and Suspect #2 approached a patron of the laundromat and tried to commit a similar crime. The second victim did not comply with the demands of the suspects and the suspects fled on foot.



Suspect #1 is described as a male, black, between 17-18 years-old, 5'9"-5'10" tall, with a thin-medium build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap with a red bottom fold, a black hooded and zippered sweatshirt, and dark blue "Rock Revival" brand blue jeans.

Suspect #2 is described as a male, black, between 18-20 years-old, approximately 6'1" tall, with a thin build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
