WASHINGTON COUNTY -- Officials with the Washington County Sheriff's Office are investigating after a pedestrian was struck in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday, November 5th.
It happened around 3:00 p.m., as the victim, a 42-year-old woman from West end was walking on County Trunk Z.
A southbound vehicle crossed the center line and ran over the outer edge of her foot.
According to sheriff's officials, the woman was wearing a bright orange traffic-type vest at the time.
The suspect vehicle is described as a smaller, older model four-door vehicle that was either faded or sky blue in color.
The vehicle was driven by a white man, about 50 years old.
