Investigators later learned the woman frequently bought drugs from a "dealer" in Milwaukee. Prosecutors said 30-year-old Karl Rieves sold the victim the drugs that ultimately killed her.
A months-long investigation revealed Rieves and two other men – 23-year-old Laron Horton and 19-year-old Tony Robinson – had been selling drugs all over southeast Wisconsin.

Court filings said detectives witnessed Rieves, Horton or Robinson involved in "at least 32 separate drug transactions" from Dec. 8 to Jan. 5.
What's next
Rieves is charged with first-degree reckless homicide. All three men are charged with multiple drug-related felonies.
Court records show Rieves has a lengthy criminal history. He remains in the Ozaukee County Jail on unrelated charges.
