Washington County Sheriff’s Office: Vehicle stolen while parked at post office
WASHINGTON COUNTY -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a vehicle theft that occurred Tuesday, October 18th near the Allenton Post Office.
Officials say the vehicle was stolen shortly before 3 p.m. while the owner was inside the post office.
The vehicle, a 2004 silver Toyota Camry with a license plate of 837-PYY , was parked on the street in front of the post office, with the keys in the ignition.
Witnesses reported the suspect, who was seen in the area immediately prior to the theft, is a younger white male wearing a dark hoodie.
The vehicle has yet to be recovered.
