Semi truck carrying beer crashes on freeway

A semi truck carrying beer crashed on I-41 in Menomonee Falls on Thursday, May 2.

A crash involving a semi that was hauling beer shut down multiple lanes of I-41 northbound for hours on Thursday, May 2.

It happened Waukesha County near Pilgrim Road. The closures near Highway Q began around 8:30 a.m. and ended around 2:30 p.m.

Photos from the Menomonee Falls Police Department showed cases of Miller High Life. It's unclear what, if anything, else the semi was transporting.

No additional details have been released – including the cause of the crash or if any injuries were sustained.
