Waukesha man arrested for fourth drunk driving offense
A Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputy arrested 26-year-old Brian Heineck of Waukesha late Tuesday night for his fourth drunk driving offense.
The deputy spotted Heineck on eastbound I-94 near 68th Street. The car was apparently swerving in the lane.
The deputy pulled Heineck just south of the freeway on 35th Street. When he approached the car, the deputy could smell a strong odor of alcohol from Heineck. Heineck also had slurred speech and red, glassy eyes.
Heineck admitted to drinking two beers and did poorly on a field sobriety test. When the deputy tested his blood alcohol level, it registered a .108 -- or more than the legal limit.
Heineck was arrested and taken to the county jail. He faces up to six years in prison if convicted. His previous offense happened in September 2005, May 2006 and June 2008.
