We Energies crews called to gas service line leak in Cudahy

CUDAHY -- We Energies was called to the scene of a gas service link leak just north of the intersection of S. Pennsylvania and Ramsey Ave. Wednesday, September 5th.

The leak occurred when a contractor working in the roadway struck a service line. Some businesses and homes in the area were evacuated.

We Energies officials say the utility stopped the flow of gas shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
