We Energies restores power in New Berlin, Waukesha
SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN — We Energies says about 1,500 customers in New Berlin and Waukesha were without power "system wide" Tuesday morning, July 24th.
About 1,100 outages were reported in Waukesha and 300 were reported in New Berlin. In total, nearly 1,500 people were without power. Officials say both the New Berlin and Waukesha outages have been fixed.
Officials say the power went out around 6:30 a.m. in Waukesha and was restored at 8 a.m. The New Berlin outage was fixed around 7:30 a.m.
We Energies says less than 50 customers remain without power "system wide."
The power outages are likely weather related, however, We Energies has not confirmed an official cause.
