MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Business Journal says We Energies is planning a refund of $15 million to $18 million for its customers.
That's because the coal-fired plants in Oak Creek have been exporting power to other states.
The refund will amount to about one-half of one percent of customers' energy bills.
It could either involve a credit on customer bills late this year, or it could go toward a discount on a future rate increase.
