WEST ALLIS, Wis. - A West Allis man was struck by a vehicle in West Allis on Sunday, Jan. 12.
The West Allis Police Department said it happened around 1:30 p.m. near 91st and Greenfield.
The 70-year-old man from West Allis was attempting to cross Greenfield while the driver of the vehicle, a 40-year-old woman from Milwaukee, was pulling around a bus and did not see the man. The driver remained on the scene of the crash.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the investigation is ongoing, but it appeared the pedestrian had been consuming intoxicants.
