West Bend digs out from a foot of snow
WEST BEND -- Everywhere you turn in the city of West Bend, the snow is piled high.
With the winds whipping on Friday, December 21st, and snow drifting, piles of snow block parts of rural rods throughout Washington County. That turned simple commutes into white-knuckle rides.
Since the start of the storm that roared through on Thursday, the Washington County Sheriff's Department has taken more than 300 calls from people needed assistance. Officials are warning drivers about slick, snow-filled streets.
