What caused his death? 43-year-old Dodge Co. man found dead by his landlord

DODGE COUNTY (WITI) -- The unexpected death of a 43-year-old Dodge County man is under investigation.

Dodge County Sheriff's officials say 43-year-old Michael Soeller was found dead by his landlord, who reported he had not seen him for several days.

Soeller lived alone in an apartment at the intersection of Highway 33 and Highway 73 in the Town of Fox Lake.

Detectives with the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, and the Dodge County Medical Examiner were called out to the scene.

Soeller will be taken to the VA Hospital in Madison for an autopsy to establish the cause of his death.

Dodge County Sheriff's officials say they consider this to be an open and active death investigation.

No further details have yet been released.
