MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Many spent Sunday morning, January 13th doing some cleanup after ice, sleet and snow-covered vehicles and sidewalks.
With his ice scraper in hand, Elliot Bogdonovich said he wasn't hoping to spend his Sunday morning digging out -- especially the morning after a Packers loss!
"Woke up and got depressed about the Packers game and got to come do this all morning," Bogdonovich said.
With a friend's help, Bogdonovich scraped two vehicles after Old Man Winter left a thick layer of ice on the windshields.
Meanwhile, east side resident Mary McKimmey wasn't too upset to see the winter weather, but she didn't have a windshield to scrape!
"It's very beautiful actually. It's a peaceful time," McKimmey said.
McKimmey headed out on her bicycle on Sunday morning, and said the key to biking on the ice is taking it slow and layering up.
Jim Carlson and his dog Gigi woke up to the sound of people scraping their cars, and decided to head out for a walk.
"I was worried about the slippery stuff -- the ice underneath, but it's not too bad," Carlson said.
Carlson keeps his car in his garage -- so he didn't have to deal with any scraping either.
"Winter always sucks," Bogdonovich said.
