Wisconsin DHS: 2,020 new COVID-19 cases, 18 new deaths confirmed
MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) on Tuesday, Oct. 6 reported 2,020 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state.
In total, 136,379 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Wisconsin. A single-day high of 2,892 was reported on Oct. 3.
Among those who have tested positive, 1,399 deaths -- an increase of 18 from Monday -- have been reported. There have been 7,810 people hospitalized (5.7%) and 110,110 people have recovered (80.7%). There are 24,852 active cases (18.2%).
More than 1.6 million people have been tested for COVID-19, of which nearly 1.5 million have tested negative, according to the DHS.
