Wisconsin State Patrol trooper's squad struck while assisting driver on I-41 in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- A state trooper's squad was struck while they were helping assist a car that struck a median on I-41 near Highway Y.

The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. Friday, December 16th.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the trooper was helping a car that had lost control and struck a median when his own squad was struck.

Officials say the trooper was not injured.

The incident is being investigated by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
