NEW BERLIN (WITI) -- Wisconsin is one step closer to getting its first trampoline park.

More than 50 people are working to transform a 25,000 square foot warehouse on Beloit Road (just west of Moorland Road) in New Berlin into Helium Trampoline Park.

“We started building was about 2-3 weeks ago and it just keeps on expanding more and more,” said Helium Trampoline HR consultant David Karst.

It would include 130 interconnected trampolines, two dodge ball courts, a foam pit and a 28-foot-tall rock climbing wall – one of the largest in the state.

The trampoline park is expected to open the week of April 29th.

“We believe this is going to be a true destination celebration spot here in New Berlin for kids of all ages,” said Karst.

The park is looking to fill 50 positions that include greeters, cashiers, safety specialists and management.

“We'd like to invite anybody that's looking for an opportunity, a part-time or full-time opportunity, to come in for a job fair,” said Karst.

Job fairs are taking place this week and, so far, the interest is high.

“We had about 75 people that showed up Monday,” said Karst.

There is one more hiring event set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park’s site on 16235 W. Beloit Road in New Berlin.
