NEW BERLIN, Wis. - Investigators are looking for a man they say held up a New Berlin store, walking away with cash and lotto tickets.
"He seems to like to take things that aren’t his," the U.S. Marshal on the case said.
Search for an armed robber
The backstory:
In late July 2018, investigators say Marcus Williams walked into the My Pantry off Calhoun and Greenfield armed with a gun – pointing at a clerk and customer.
"He ends up getting about $375 and 99 lottery tickets from that robbery," the marshal said.

Police say they identified the 30-year-old suspect through DNA evidence left behind on a glove used in the armed robbery, fingerprints on a lotto ticket and surveillance showing the man cashing in some of his winnings.

"He must’ve been busy scratching that night before and he ended up going to a place in the city of Milwaukee to redeem them the following day," the investigator said.
Williams went on the run. Then, about two years later, U.S. Marshals say Williams was the passenger in a stolen car fleeing from officers.
"Firearms were recovered, and now he’s back on the run," the marshal explained.
Local perspective:
Marshals believe Williams is in the Milwaukee area and getting help hiding out.

"It’s going to catch up to him," the marshal said. "Obviously, it’s been 5 years and we haven’t stopped looking."

Williams is described as being 5’8" tall and weighing 160 pounds.
