3,000+ names to come off Packers season tickets waiting list

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Green Bay Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy had some good news for Packers fans who are on the waiting list for season tickets at Lambeau Field.

Murphy told reporters the waiting list has gone up from 80,000 names to more than 105,000 names in just the last couple of years. But with the new addition of the seats on the south end zone at Lambeau Field, between 3,000 and 4,000 people will be coming off the waiting list this season.

Murphy says the people coming off the season tickets waiting list first went onto the list in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Murphy said because of this, there's one thing nobody in Packers nation can dispute. He said "our fans are very patient."
