"A moment to bond:" For most, Green Bay Packers Family Night is all about the kids

GREEN BAY -- Green Bay Packers Family Night is truly all about families, and it's a chance for young children to experience the magic that is Lambeau Field.

When Matt and Courtney Seipel got married five years ago, they knew the day would come -- when they'd attend Packers Family Night -- as a family.

Sunday, July 31st was two-year-old Avery's first trip to hallowed ground.

She didn't love it.

"I think those tears were tears of joy," Matt Seipel said.

Good spin, dad!

The beat that pumps so many hearts for the green and gold can't be stopped -- which is why Bobby Jo Parbs brought her two children Gavin and Jersey Lynn to their second Family Night Sunday.

"Family Night means that the family goes to the stadium and has a lot of fun," Gavin said.

"I wanted to see Matthews," Jersey Lynn said.

Matthews, Jersey Lynn said, is her favorite Packers player.

Even waiting in line for food with Parbs' boyfriend, Wayne Schneider was good, quality family time -- what this is all about.

"When you bring your kids together -- and you just have a moment to bond. You can't replace it," Parbs said.

The night ended with fireworks over Lambeau Field -- and Packers players took the field with their own children -- sharing a moment along with the rest of the families on hand.

Packers officials said 66,397 were in attendance for Family Night 2016.
