Aaron Rodgers leaves game against Bears with collarbone injury

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- The first quarter of Monday night’s game at Lambeau Field ended with the Packers leading the Chicago Bears, 10-7, and with quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the locker room where he was being examined for a left shoulder injury.

On the Packers’ opening possession of the game, Rodgers completed a 27-yard pass to Jordy Nelson and Eddie Lacy broke off a run for 16 yards. The Packers had a first down at the Bears 11-yard line.

Rodgers was sacked on third down and the Packers had to settle for a 30-yard Mason Crosby field goal.

Following the drive, Rodgers’ left shoulder was examined and it was determined he would not be returning to the game.

Seneca Wallace replaced Rodgers for the Packers’ second offensive possession -- and through the remainder of the game.
