Aaron Rodgers looking forward to return of Brett Favre, Bart Starr at Lambeau on Thanksgiving

GREEN BAY — Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is looking forward to the anticipated returns of two of his Packers predecessors on Thanksgiving night.

Brett Favre's name and retired number will be unveiled inside the stadium at halftime of Green Bay's game against the Chicago Bears.

It's the completion of a season-long reconciliation between Favre and the franchise that he helped revived when he arrived in 1992.

The sides had a messy split in 2008. Favre was replaced by Rodgers, a first-round draft pick who was the backup for three years.

Rodgers said on Tuesday that there has been a good, proper healing process for everybody involved.

Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr is also expected to attend on Thursday. He is recovering from two strokes and a heart attack.
