Aaron Rodgers to practice in rehab group, McCarthy says it's 'not a setback'
GREEN BAY -- Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be given the whole week to get ready for the Packers' game on Sunday against the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings. For now, he is working with the rehab group in practice.

McCarthy indicated for now, the team is taking Rodgers' status day by day.
"Anytime a player comes off of a game where he's injured, obviously there's the hope of playing. Obviously we hope we give him the whole week to get ready. So we'll take it day by day and learn as we go," McCarthy said. " Based on the medical, based on what went on yesterday and today, he'll be in rehab group. He's always responded, put a lot of extra time in. So, we'll see what tomorrow brings."

Rodgers threw touchdown passes in the fourth quarter in last week's come-from-behind 24-23 win over the Chicago Bears after returning in the second half from a knee injury. He reached for the back of his left leg after a Bears lineman landed on him during a sack.
