Admirals welcome UW Badgers Band on Saturday night
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- After a road game in Iowa on Friday, January 31st, the Admirals return home to take on the Grand Rapids Griffins Saturday night, February 1st at 7:00 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The University of Wisconsin Badgers Band will make their annual trip to the Ads game, courtesy of Reinhart Partners. The band will help cheer on the Admirals during the game and afterwards they will perform on the ice for a special 4th period. The band will also perform the national anthem prior to the start of the game.
In addition, first 3,000 people through the gates will receive a Sendik’s red bag.
Prior to the game the Ads will host a Skate with Heart extravaganza to benefit The Herma Heart Center at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. The ice show will run between 4:00 and 5:00 pm and will feature elite singles, ice dance, pairs and synchro skaters.
Between periods there will be entertainment featuring the figure skaters performing with the UW Band. Tickets for the show and the game cost just $20 and to only see the ice show at 4:00 pm will cost $10 at the door. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Herma Heart Center at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
