All in the family: Could another Antetokounmpo hear his name at NBA Draft?

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- In June, the Milwaukee Bucks will select second in the NBA Draft -- and they hope they'll land a player who can help vault them up in the standings. They could also select the second member of the Antetokounmpo family.

At the 20113 NBA Draft, the Bucks stunned most of their fans with the selection of Giannis Antetokounmpo in the first round.

Then, the teenager proceeded to stun much of the league with his athletic gifts.

Now, another Antetokounmpo hopes to get his own draft moment.

"I don't think it's easier for me because I think he was more stressed than me. He got people to come and see him because he's 6'10" with long arms, but for me, I got to go show people what I can do," Athanasios "Thanasis" Antetokounmpo said.

At 21, Thanasis Antetokounmpo is actually older than Giannis. He also came over from Greece last year to play in the NBA Developmental League for Delaware.

At 6'7", Thanasis isn't as big as Giannis and he isn't as purely athletic either.

Since the Bucks own three second round picks in June, the brothers are at least entertaining the notion of being reunited.

"That is a dream. We always talk -- we talk to each other a lot. If we played together, it would be a team of passion and energy -- but we'll see," Thanasis Antetokounmpo said.

If the brothers don't end up together in Milwaukee, Thanasis says he will try to persuade their mother to come and live with him, while their father and the rest of the family would stay in Milwaukee. Then, they could switch.

Clearly, these guys have done the hypotheticals. Whether they wind up sharing a team or not, they share a belief.

"We always said we could live without money, but we couldn't live without basketball," Thanasis Antetokounmpo said.

It was tough on draft night last year, and for the first few days and weeks after that to get the pronunciation of Giannis Antetokounmpo correct -- so how do you pronounce Thanasis' name?

"My name is Thanasis. Everybody calls me 'T.' I would say that I would just like to be called Thanasis -- because every name is special for everybody. When they call Thanasis, I'm Thanasis -- not 'T' or 'T.O.' -- but Thanasis," Thanasis Antetokounmpo said.

The Antetokounmpo family hopes they hear their name called again at some point during this year's NBA Draft.

They will figure out who lives where and with whom, later on.

This first family of hoops isn't limited to NBA-caliber players. Their younger brother will play in high school at Whitefish Bay Dominican next season.
