American Hockey League suspends Admirals left wing Michael Liambas
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The American Hockey League has announced that Milwaukee Admirals left wing Michael Liambas has been suspended for three games as a consequence of a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent, assessed in a game at Grand Rapids on January 2nd.
Liambas has already served one game of the suspension. He will also miss Milwaukee’s games Thursday, January 8th vs. Rockford and Friday, January 9th at Rockford.
