Badgers live spartan existence, bow at MSU
EAST LANSING, MI -- The Wisconsin Badgers went into Michigan State's Breslin Center looking for their first win there since 2004. Instead, they ran into a buzz saw and suffered a 69-55 defeat.
Bo Ryan's team took an early 12-8 lead, but the Spartans went on a 14-0 run -- a 15-0 advantage in fast break points led to a 31-19 lead at halftime.
Down as many as 21, Bucky battled back to within 9, but couldn't get any closer. Ryan Evans scored 17 points in a losing cause.
Michigan State moves into a first place tie with Ohio State in the Big Ten conference. The Badgers drop to 8 and 5.
