Beyond the Game: AAU vs. high school basketball

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- While the un-springlike weather continues to wreak havoc on schedules for traditional spring sports, some gymnasiums are still hosting basketball games, and the weather doesn't matter for those.

There was some tremendous high school basketball played around the Milwaukee area this past season, and there will be some tremendous basketball played by many of those same players again over the next few months.

During the winter, the Gold Ball State Championship trophy is the ultimate goal. During the spring and summer, standing tall in the AAU world is the aim.
