British feel at the BMO Harris Bradley Center! "London Night" for the Bucks Friday!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- In advance of the Milwaukee Bucks’ trip to England next week for the NBA’s Global Games, the team is bringing a British feel to its fans at home on Friday night, January 9th. The first ever “London Night” at BMO Harris Bradley Center (7:30 p.m. tipoff) will feature London-themed in-game giveaways, live performances, and even concession stands will have a decidedly British feel.

“There certainly is a growing passion and enthusiasm for basketball in Great Britain. It is great to have the Milwaukee Bucks and the city of Milwaukee represented in the U.K. at the NBA Global Games. It is also exciting to share a little bit of our experience with the fans at home even before we head over to play in London," Joe Prunty, Bucks assistant coach and head coach of Great Britain’s national team said.

Special elements for the night include:

Additionally, for London gameday on January 15th, the Bucks will host a British-style viewing party at the Three Lions Pub (4515 N. Oakland Ave. 53211) – a member of the Bucks Bar Network – so fans can watch the team take on the Knicks in one of Milwaukee’s best English environments.

The game tips off at 2:00 p.m. CT, but festivities will start at 1:00 p.m., continuing on into the evening. The pub features large TVs and an HD projector and screen for a superior viewing experience. There will also be food and drink specials, including $3 Miller and Coors bottles and taps, and $1 off all appetizers, T-shirt giveaways, and more.
