Bucks achieve pre-season victory vs. Timberwolves in game at Kohl Center in Madison
MADISON -- The Milwaukee Bucks achieved a 106-88 pre-season victory in a matchup vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Kohl Center in Madison on Tuesday, October 20th.
This game, which featured a 7:00 p.m. tip, marked the first full-team appearance by the Bucks in Madison since an exhibition game in 1999.
Bucks basketball in Madison was a regular occurrence in the early years of the franchise, as the team played 25 regular season games, seven playoff games and five preseason games in the city during the 1960s and 1970s. Milwaukee played another three exhibitions in Madison during the ’80s and two more in the ’90s, but none since the 1999 matchup with Dallas.
The Bucks are 2-3 in the pre-season. The only other victory came vs. the Cavaliers on October 13th.
The Bucks take on the Timberwolves again on Friday, October 23rd -- this time in a pre-season matchup at the Target Center in Minnesota.
The regular season begins on October 28th, when the Bucks face the Knicks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
