MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks and Raise announced a new partnership Tuesday, November 24th -- bringing a variety of new benefits to fans attending Bucks games this season. Raise, the world’s largest gift card marketplace, allows members to purchase gift cards priced below face-value and sell unwanted gift cards for cash.
“As an innovative company on the rise, Raise is the perfect addition to our growing family of Bucks partners,” said Matt Pazaras, Bucks Senior Vice President, Business Development & Strategy. “We’re always looking for ways to enhance the in-arena experience, and we’re so excited about the many ways Raise and the Bucks will partner to bring added value to our great fans this season.”
The new partnership with Raise is highlighted by an expanded and enhanced Wi-Fi network at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Arena Wi-Fi presented by Raise will give all fans in attendance improved Wi-Fi coverage for their smartphones, allowing them to check scores, adjust fantasy lineups, engage with the Bucks via social media, and even take advantage of new in-seat ordering services through the Bucks’ official mobile app.
“As a technology company, we’re proud to present the new Wi-Fi network and connect Bucks fans with ways to get more out of every game,” Raise CEO George Bousis said. “Plus, we’re excited to help fans make their money go further at their favorite stores.”
Raise’s presence in arena will also include sponsorship of eight parachute drops throughout the season. Always a fan favorite, on these special nights lucky fans catching a parachute will find a co-branded Raise and Bucks leather money clip, each including a $5 Raise credit to redeem online for a gift card to any retailer featured on Raise. One jackpot parachute on each of these nights will include a $500 Raise credit for the lucky fan who grabs it. Additionally, Raise will sponsor a T-shirt giveaway for the April 5 game vs. Cleveland in which the first 10,000 fans through the BMO Harris Bradley Center doors will receive a free Bucks and Raise co-branded T-shirt along with a $5 Raise credit that can be redeemed at www.raise.com or on the Raise mobile app.
