MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Bucks announced that the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin will become the official orthopaedic provider of the Milwaukee Bucks, and will work with the team to promote health and wellness to youth and families across the state of Wisconsin.
“The Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin is a world-class hospital that excels in providing the highest quality, best patient experience and customer service in the country. We have a shared goal of excellence and desire to impact the community that makes us very excited about the partnership. We look forward to working closely with the hospital’s physicians to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin," Bucks President Peter Feigin said.
The Bucks’ practice facility will now be known as the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin Training Center. The hospital’s signage will be seen throughout the practice court and building exterior. Player practice jerseys will also feature their logo. Additionally, Bucks team doctors will have the opportunity to consult with Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin physicians on potential player-related treatment.
“We’ve been passionate Bucks fans a long time, but this partnership is really about working with the Bucks to become more involved in the community. We believe our two organizations can be even more impactful by working together. As a past champion strives to become a new champion once again, the Bucks have partnered with a national leader in orthopaedic care. We could not be more excited," Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin CEO Brian Cramer said.
The Bucks and the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin will work together on programs throughout the year that emphasize the importance of staying fit and the advantages of finding a love of sport and activity at a young age. Youth basketball camps and clinics, the Junior Bucks program and the Milwaukee Bucks Prep Series are among the initiatives that the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin will co-present with the Bucks.
