MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Bucks are back in Brooklyn for Game 7 against the Nets in the conference semi-finals on Saturday, June 19. But before the team left town, fans gave the players a rousing sendoff.
A large crowd gathered midday Friday to wish the Bucks well as they departed from Signature Flight Support on Layton Avenue.
"I think this is a team that feeds off the energy of the crowd," said Xavier Mercado, a Bucks fan. "It was never going to be easy, we weren’t just going to run into Brooklyn and not have a problem."
Now, the two teams are tied in the Eastern Conference semifinals – 3-3 – which forced a Game 7 in New York.

"It was amazing, Fiserv was packed everyone was screaming and it was just great energy," said Sarah O'Brien, a Bucks fan. "I think they’ve got the fight."

Bucks fans were encouraged to bring Deer District celebrations to Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport – and the hot temperatures and sun did not hold anyone back. Hundreds of fans lined Layton Avenue hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite players.

"We love you man! We are here for you. We are backing you up! Don’t let New York rock you! We are cheese heads!" Mercado said.
