Bucks owner Herb Kohl addresses Friday night's floor issues

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Bucks held their annual Tipoff Luncheon in downtown Milwaukee on Monday afternoon, October 28th to mark the start of the regular season. One thing that may not see the start of the regular season is the Bucks' new floor!

On Friday night, October 25th, the Bucks game had to be cancelled just minutes after it started because the floor was slippery.

It is still unclear what the cause was -- however, no matter what, the Bucks owner says it's not a big deal.

"(Tuesday) and Wednesday, the NBA is going to be in town. They're going to take a look at the new floor and determine if something more needs to be done with it.  And if so, we'll play on the old floor, which is just fine. I don't consider it to be an issue of significance," Bucks owner Herb Kohl said.

Many thought the floor's slickness was caused by the ice rink underneath -- but the team says it doesn't believe that's the case.

Fans who were in attendance on Friday earned a free ticket to any game in November.
