Filip Forsberg reassigned to Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Filip Forsberg to Milwaukee (AHL). Forsberg was at the NHL level under emergency conditions.
Forsberg has posted five points (1g-4a) in 13 games with Nashville, and 27 points (10g-17a) in 37 games with the Admirals in 2013-14. The Ostervala, Sweden native also participated in the 2014 World Junior Championships, earning Most Valuable Player and Best Forward honors while helping Sweden to a silver medal (4g-8a-12pts, 7gp), his third consecutive medal at the tournament (2013: silver, 2012: gold).
Forsberg and the Admirals complete a four-game road trip Wednesday night at 6:05 pm in Rochester. They return home on Friday, March 28th at 7 pm to host the Lake Erie Monsters at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
