First in Wisconsin Badgers history: Frank Kaminsky earns "Player of the Year" honors
INDIANAPOLIS (WITI) -- Wisconsin Badgers forward Frank Kaminsky was awarded the Oscar Robertson Trophy for USBWA National Player of the Year in Indianapolis Friday morning, April 3rd. He is the first player in Badgers history to win the award -- and the third from a Big Ten Conference school since the 2009-10 season.

The Oscar Robertson Trophy, presented by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, is the premier men's college player of the year award. It is also the only such award actually named after a player or a living namesake.
