MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Admirals President Jon Greenberg has announced rock groups Great White and Slaughter will perform in a LIVE post-game concert following the Ads final regular season home game on Friday, April 17th against the Toronto Marlies.
The concert, which is sponsored by Coors Light, Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, Toyota, and Lee Jeans, is free to attend with a game ticket. On-ice passes, which allow for exclusive access to the concert from the ice directly in front of the state, will go on sale at a future date.
Each of the groups will play their own set and there will be a very short break between them.
This is the fourth and final show in the Admirals Concert Series this season. Country music stars Brett Eldridge and Billy Currington will perform on January 23rd and February 27th, respectively, while classic rock legends Foreigner will play post-game on March 21st.
Great White has been rockin' out since 1982 with their blues-based guitar riffs and a swagger that carries an emotional high for all of their loyal fans. They are best known for their Grammy nominated hard rock performance of "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and have also sold over 10 million albums worldwide. Some hits include "Rock Me", "Save Your Love", "House of Broken Love" and "Lady Red Light". They have also been making headlines with more recent songs from their last album Elation and their 2014 international tour including a performance in Zurich Switzerland at the Rock Im Tal Festival.
Slaughter came onto the music scene in 1990 blowing like a big tornado, hitting MTV, the U.S touring circuit and performing with musicians that they love such as KISS and Ozzy Osbourne. Their music emphasizes spirituality that can be best exemplified by their song and second hit single "Fly to the Angles". Slaughter also wrote and recorded the theme song for Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. This early success helped Slaughter to garner a loyal and appreciative fan base that has continued to support the band. More recently Slaughter has performed at the world famed "Rocklahoma Music Fest" in addition to a full summer tour with Vince Neil of Motley Crew.
