Packers prep for Eagles after Bears loss

The Chicago Bears snapped a 10-game skid with a 24-22 victory over the playoff-bound Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Jan. 5.

The Green Bay Packers look to keep their Super Bowl aspirations alive when they visit the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday's NFC Wild Card Round.

When to watch

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. CST – only on FOX6. A special edition of FOX6 News is scheduled for 2 p.m., leading up to FOX NFL pregame coverage at 3 p.m.

Packers-Eagles

The Packers (11-6) finished third in the competitive NFC North, which saw three teams reach the postseason, after back-to-back losses against the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears. The Eagles (14-3) won the NFC East; they won 12 of their last 13 games following a 2-2 start.

Green Bay is 27-17 against Philadelphia in the regular season all time, but 9-11 on the road. The Packers are 1-2 in playoff games against the Eagles, all three of which were played at Philadelphia. That lone victory came en route to Green Bay's Super Bowl XLV title.

Sunday's game is a rematch of the Week 1 contest in São Paulo, Brazil, which the Eagles won 34-29. It was the second loss in as many games for Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur against Philadelphia's Nick Sirianni.

Packers offensive lineman Andre Dillard played three seasons for the Eagles, the team that selected him in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. Linebacker Eric Wilson played for the Eagles in 2021.

Philadelphia linebacker Oren Burks played four seasons for Green Bay, the team that drafted him in 2017. Fellow linebacker Zack Baun, who was named to his first Pro Bowl this season, is from Brown Deer and played for the Wisconsin Badgers.

The game will be a true homecoming for Packers kicker Brandon McManus. He was born in Philadelphia, attended high school in suburban Lansdale, Pennsylvania, and played college football at Temple.
