Green Bay Packers launch new Twitter account

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- The Green Bay Packers launched on Monday, April 7th, a new Twitter account, @PackersPromos, which will feature promotions from Packers partners, deals for fans, contests and more.

The new account will provide a platform for the team to promote contests and happenings at Lambeau Field to its local and regional fan base. While the majority of the tweets will have a local influence, all fans are encouraged to follow the account, as many sweepstakes and contests are run nationwide.

Fans can also follow the Packers’ other Twitter accounts, including @Packers, the team’s official account, @PackEverywhere, the official account for the team’s online fan hub, and @LambeauField, the official account for Lambeau Field.
