Hockey-Days: Admirals play three at home, host the ninth annual Admirals Cup
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A time honored tradition like opening presents on Christmas morning, eggnog or overcooking the holiday turkey continues this year as the Admirals once again present Hockey-Days, from December 26th through January 3rd.
During that time there is plenty of hockey to go around as the Ads play three home games and the team will also host the ninth-annual Admirals Cup, presented by Bradley Corp.
The Admirals Cup, which features eight elite high school hockey programs, kicks off the fun on Friday, December 26th with games at the BMO Harris Bradley Center at 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. There are also Admirals Cup games slated for Saturday, December 27th at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the BMOHC.
The Admirals play their first home game after the Christmas break on the 26th when they host the Chicago Wolves in Amtrak Rivalry action at 7:00 p.m. Milwaukee’s own Pat McCurdy will perform in the east atrium before and after the game and the first 2,500 fans will take home a cinch sack, courtesy of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
After a road game in Iowa on December 29th, the Admirals return home on the 30th to host the Lake Erie Monsters at 7:00 p.m. The first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive cowbells, courtesy of Potawatomi Hotel and Casino and all Miller/Coors Drafts are only $2!
The final game of the Hockey-Days comes on Saturday, January 3rd when the Admirals welcome the Hamilton Bulldogs to the BMOHBC. The first 3,000 fans will get an Admirals winter hat, courtesy of TSMGI.
The Ads office will be open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22nd and Tuesday, December 23rd and then 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The office will close on Christmas and re-open on the 26th at 9:00 a.m.
